Sharing your time and expertise with the world's premier society for nuclear professionals gives you unique opportunities to network with other dedicated nuclear professionals and expand your capabilities. You and your organization will benefit from the knowledge exchange and new ideas!


As a volunteer, you may be asked to attend committee meetings and/or fulfill a specific assignment. The following opportunities are available. Please choose up to three areas that interest you and rank them, with "1" being your first priority. (You can click on the committee's name for a brief description. More information about each committee can be found in the committees section.)

Committee meetings are held in June and November in conjunction with ANS national meetings. ANS does not pay for volunteer travel, nor meeting fees. Committee appointments are made by the Vice President in late spring of each year. Volunteer information is kept on file for two years. However, feel free to submit a volunteer form at any time.
